The 2nd Annual All-Russian Forum of Regional Mass Media has been launched in Alushta, Crimea. The Forum will host four plenary meetings, as well as a number of round tables and panel discussions on November 12 – 13, 2015.
The opening ceremony was attended by Alexei Volin, Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation. About 400 people, including representatives of federal and regional authorities, supervising the information policy, as well as heads of leading Russian media, media managers, and journalists are taking part in the Forum, press service of the Russian government in Crimea reports.
The following topics are expected to be introduced during the plenary sessions: ‘Roskomnadzor activities in application of legislation on mass media’, ‘Models of media development’, ‘Subscription campaign in the first half of 2016’, ‘Image of Russia in domestic and foreign media’, ‘Media literacy – media competence’, etc.
