A 30-year-old local resident is charged with committing the murder for profit, reports the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea.
“According to the investigators, the suspect saw Mumin Aliyeva at a bus stop on the evening of May 29, 2016, and offered to drive her home. After the woman got into his car, the man did not take her home but to a forest, where he murdered her and got hold of her gold jewelry. The investigators questioned more than 10 people, examined the crime scene and ordered a series of forensic tests carried out. The criminal investigation is ongoing,” says a statement issued by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Crimea.
It was reported earlier that 36-year-old Crimean Tatar Mumin Aliyev was kidnapped and brutally murdered on May 29. She was buried in the village of Izyumovka of Crimea’s Kirov district on May 30.
