- A parole hearing in case of Hayser Dzhemilev is to be held in the city of Astrakhan on February 25, the defendant's lawyer Nikolai Polozov wrote on Twitter.

Hayser Dzhemilev was sentenced in Russia to five years in prison. The jury acquitted him on charges of premeditated murder, but found guilty of possession of weapons and ammunition, as well as causing death by negligence.

Later, the Supreme Court reduced the sentence for Hayser Dzhemilev to three and a half years, but refused to transfer him to Ukraine.
