SIMFEROPOL / AQMESCIT (QHA) -

The "Ukrainian military" who have taken the side of the invaders in the annexed Crimea will be paid a one-time assistance.

Payments will start this year, and those of the military, permanently living in the occupied peninsula, who acquired a disability during the service, will be able to receive it.

“The amount of material assistance is determined in accordance with the legislation in force in the Crimea and Sevastopol until February 21, 2014, reduced by the amount of previously made payments and converted into rubles at the rate of the Central Bank of Russia, set on March 18, 2014,” the document says.

Money will also be available to relatives of Ukrainian soldiers who died during the service.

Earlier QHA reported that in the capital of the occupied Crimea, local residents massively forged certificates and IDs in order to enjoy benefits in transport.
