The Russian Ministry of Culture has announced a competition to create a feature film about the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait, reads the corresponding application, placed on the public procurement portal.
Prospective filmmakers have been put in a very rigid framework. Under the terms of the Russian Ministry of Culture, the project cost should not exceed 3 million rubles. The feature film lasting 52 minutes must be shot up to December 2016, and it should be ready for distribution until the end of November 2017.
The portal of public procurement also reports that the executor of this large-scale project will be defined in the next four weeks - until October 26.
It should be noted that the occupied Crimea is currently connected with Russian territory by air and ferry. After the annexation of Crimea in 2014, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that it is necessary to build a bridge through the Kerch Strait. It should be ready by 2018 and put into operation in the summer of 2019.
Russia has announced that the bridge will cost 227,920 bln rubles.
