Commissioner on Human Rights for the Russia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, Konstantin Dolgov slammed the PACE resolution that imposes sanctions against those involved in the persecutions of Ukrainian citizens.

- And what about punishing those involved in the illegal arrests of Russian citizens and murders of Russian journalists in Ukraine? Doesn’t it interest PACE? Maybe it has other priorities? Are people different for MPs? Double standards are far from democracy and human rights! the Russian diplomat wrote on Twitter.

As QHA reported earlier, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has passed a resolution calling to introduce targeted sanctions against all those involved in the political persecutions in occupied Crimea.
