Alexander Sotnik, Russian journalist and head of the Sotnik TV Internet television project, posted a video on YouTube saying he has been forced to leave Russia due to threats received on his cell phone.
If you are watching this video that means I am no longer in Russia. This is not immigration, it is a forced evacuation for some time ... The quality of threats has changed: an unknown called me and told they are ready to put up with me until October, but after that they will work over me. Yes, they can express themselves, said Sotnik.
The journalist said he plans to live in Georgia for some time and pledged he would stream to Facebook live.
The video operators with Sotnik TV Channel still stay in Russia.
