At the court meeting on January 17 the remaining photos were examined. Totally there are 149 photographs, nine of which feature Ahtem Chiygoz: He communicates with people, or just standing, according to the lawyer Nikolai Polozov.
He informed that in reviewing the video materials it was discovered that the time the files were created had a few hours difference from the actual event time. And since the court did not grant the defense motion of Chiygoz to send video for the examination, the fact of time difference can not be recognized an evidence.
“Unfortunately, earlier the court refused to grant the defense motion to send the video to video-technical examination to determine the actual time of the files creation. Thus, the video files can not be recognized a reliable material evidence. At the same time, Ahtem Chiygoz insists on their examination to establish the facts, had the place to be, regardless of the nominal time of the files creation specified in their properties,”Polozov writes.
On the whole 13 videos were reviewed with duration of nine seconds to two minutes.
January 16, this year's first trial of the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ahtem Chiygoz was attended by his father Zeytulla Chiygoz.
