"Our brothers in Crimea count the days throughout the occupation. And every day is like a year for them."

With this slogan, the representatives of the Crimean Tatar diaspora in Ankara invited all the concerned to join the rally against the barbaric annexation of Crimea, the Russian Federation carried out three years ago.

Apart from representatives of the Crimean Tatar Association of Culture and Mutual Aid and other Crimean Tatar organizations, a large number of activists joined the rally, among them were representatives of both Crimean Tatar and Turkish people.

The protesters held a rally with the banner reading "We are not just a handful of people, we are a strong nation", "Russia, leave Crimea", etc.

The Association's Chairman Tuncer Kalkan read out the press statement of the protesters, stressing that the Crimean Tatars do not give up in their fight for their homeland.
