March 21, in the occupied Crimea, the Kremlin-controlled "Supreme Court" ruled to extend house arrest to Crimean Tatar activists, the human rights organization Crimean Solidarity reported.

Ali Asanov and Mustafa Degermendzhi were left under arrest until May 20, 2018. The appellate hearing was held openly, and activists supporting the Crimean Tatars began to gather outside the "court" building long before the start.

Reference: Mustafa Degermendzhi and Ali Asanov are tried for participation in the rally on February 26, 2014 near the building of the Supreme Council of Crimea in support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and rendering resistance to the Russian occupation army.

Earlier, the occupiers postponed the court hearing on the "February 26 case."
