Reference: Crimean Tatars Teymur Abdullayev, Uzeir Abdullayev, Emil Dzhemadenov, Rustem Ismailov and Aider Saledinov, arrested on October 12, 2016 on the so-called "Hizb ut-Tahrir" case (Simferopol group), are charged under art. 205.1 and 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for organizing and participating in the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir, an organization recognized terrorist in the Russian Federation.

The so-called case of Hizb ut-Tahrir has become a “hallmark” of the Russian Federal Security Service struggle against dissident Muslims in the Crimea. Under the pretext of suspicions in terrorism, calling their repressive actions a fight against extremism, Russian security forces break into homes, carry out massive illegal searches and detentions.

QHA reported that the state of health of Uzeir Abdullayev was critical. He had a high fever and his left leg was swollen
