Within the framework of the 16th session of the UN Permanent Forum on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, under the aegis of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN General Assembly, a side event was held for the international missions where a documentary film entitled "Cry of the Indigenous Crimean Tatars in the Crimea" was presented.

The film was prepared by representative of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people to the UN Ayla Bakkalli, Director of the QHA news agency, Mejlis member Gayana Yuksel and the QHA team. It tells about the seizure of the Crimea by the Russian Federation in 2014 and the reaction of the world community.
