DONETSK (QHA) -

The leadership of the "Donetsk People's Republic," said Ukraine "owed" Donetsk miners wages in the amount of UAH 900 million, and demanded the immediate return of this money, reported the Ukrainian Press.

According to the “Head of the Industrial Development Strategy” Eduard Polyakov as cited by one of the Donetsk terrorist media, the Ukrainian government has failed to pay its debt to the miners working in the Russia-occupied territory.

- Last September, at the time of the decision to withdraw the Ukrainian energy and industrial entities from the “DPR” territory, the debt of coal enterprises constituted close to UAH 900 million. This debt has remained, said Polyakov.

The separatist official also said the debts accumulated until September 2014 with most of the wage shortfalls falling on the period of active hostilities.
