A preliminary hearing of the February 26 case will take place on July 20 at 10:00.

Elmira Ablyalimova, the wife of the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ahtem Chiygoz held by Russian occupants in jail and accused in the February 26 case, posted this information on her Facebook page with reference to the so-called Supreme Court of Crimea.

Six persons are charged with involvement in mass riots during a rally that took place outside the Crimean Parliament on February 26, 2014. Three of them, Ahtem Chiygoz, Mustafa Degermenzhi and Ali Asanov, are being held in Simferopol’s pre-trial detention center No.1, while the other three, Eskender Kantemirov, Arsen Yunusov and Eskender Emirvaliyev, are awaiting sentence at home, being taken out on bail.
