Further possible limitation of the electricity supply in Crimea may last until October 11, according to the Crimean State Unitary Enterprise "Krymenergo", as cited by information portal "Eevents of Crimea".
Crimean officials explain that the reason for the possible outages is maintenance work on power lines "Kuban - Taman". They assure that the cuts will not exceed two hours per day.
October 3, several regions of Crimea (including the city of Yalta, Yevpatoria, Simferopol, Sevastopol and Feodosiya) were affected by the power cut.
The so-called Fuel and Energy Ministry of Crimea explained it by planned limitation of power supply that occurred without warning.
At the same time, the Power Company "Sevastopolenergo" reported that the general limit of power consumption for the inhabitants of the region reduced "due to an emergency situation in the high-voltage networks outside of the Crimean peninsula."
As can be seen from the social networks, the Crimeans try to joke about the repeated cuts and suggest that the outages will become more frequent with the approach of cold weather and an increase in energy consumption. Moreover, it is noted that in fact, the cuts last much longer than reported by the local officials.
