Poroshenko expresses his condolences to France

President of Ukraine expresses condolences together with the entire Ukrainian people to the families of those killed in France.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was shocked by the terrorist attack, which occurred on the night of July 14 in Nice, France, according to his Twitter page.

“Terrible terrorist attack in Nice. Shocked. Together with the whole Ukrainian people, I express condolences to the families of the victims in France,” Poroshenko tweeted.

In the evening on July 14 at about 11pm, a terrorist attack in the French city of Nice claimed the lives of 84 people. According to the latest data, 18 people are in critical condition and about 150 wounded. A white truck on speed drove into a crowd of people on the Promenade des Anglais, where tourists and residents of the city celebrated a national holiday, Bastille Day. Then a terrorist got off the truck and started shooting at the crowd.

The truck driver turned out to be a 31-year-old Tunisian, a resident of Nice.
