Crimean Tatar Ebazer Aliyev was transferred from the punishment cell, where he was held in spite of medical indications, to a Simferopol pre-trail detention center, lawyer Nikolai Polozov, who previously visited Aliyev in jail, posted on his Facebook page.
“Reportedly, he was transferred to a regular cell, in suitable for him conditions. It is good that the administration of this detention center is still meets the norms of legislation, I hope, a positive trend will continue in the future,” he wrote.
Just a reminder: As part of ‘Crimea’ Committee activity, the lawyer Nikolai Polozov visited the Crimean Tatar Ebazer Aliyev in a punishment cell of the detention center in Simferopol on August 31. He pointed out that Aliyev has a number of diseases leaving him unable to be there. In addition, the decision to confine Aliyev in a punishment cell was to be taken by the commission and a doctor of the facility. However, this requirement of the law was not observed in regard to Aliyev.
