Poklonskaya wants to accuse Chubarov of blackout

According to a “Prosecutor,” a criminal case has been launched over the power blockade.

Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov will be charged with "organizing the energy blockade of the peninsula," said the so-called Crimean Prosecutor Natalia Polonskaya as cited by RIA Novosti.

At a meeting with French MPs, the “Prosecutor” told that a criminal case has been launched over the energy blockade and the first accused is one of the organizers of the Crimean Civil Blockade, Lenur Islyamov. As for Chubarov, for the time being the inculpatory evidence is being collected.

November, 21 2015 the residents of the annexed Crimea have been cut off power due to the blowing up of the transmission towers in Kherson region. An emergency state was introduced on the entire peninsula, as well as the schedules of emergency outages.

The emergency state was lifted on May, 18 in Crimea and on May, 25 in the city of Sevastopol.
