Piano purchased for Crimean Tatar refugees

Crimean House state enterprise under the government of Ukraine has appealed to citizens to assist in arranging and renovating premises for displaced persons. A total of UAH 43,000 was required for this purpose.

Oleksii Skoryk, Director of the Crimean House, reported about the first acquisition for refugees.

“Since the launch of fund raising campaign we have bought a piano and received UAH 4,500 for renovation. We will be grateful for further support,” he posted on his Facebook.

According to organizers, the music studio will host the children’s choir, the ensemble of Crimean Tatar folk instruments and recording studio.

The Crimean House state enterprise was established in November of 2014 to protect the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens, including indigenous people and national minorities in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
