On the eve of the Russian day of national unity, a ‘Russian march’ was held in Simferopol on November 3.
According to various sources, up to 800 people participated in the march, including representatives of the “Russian block”, pro-Russian Cossacks as well as students.
The participants held posters “Russian block for Russian language!”, “People of Crimea for the Customs Union with Russia” and others.
The participants chanted slogans “Crimea! Russia! Moscow!”, “Three countries- one nation” etc. They held Russian flags and party symbols.
In the end, young people wearing masks trampled and burned the European Union flag.
“We need a Customs Union. Only in friendship with Russia and Belarus we will have prosperity and economic well-being”, -stated head of the “Russian block” Gennadiy Basov after the march.
