Residents of the outskirts of the occupied Simferopol complain about unauthorized landfills, according to the report of the city administration.
Most of the unauthorized dumps are recorded in sparsely populated areas, outskirts or industrial zone. One of such problem areas is the former military unit along Zhenya Deriugina Street.
"We are constantly confronted with the fact that irresponsible townspeople dump household wastes and construction debris in places unintended for these purposes. So, today a person was identified, who arrived on the territory of the former military unit on his personal car and tried to dump construction debris. An administrative protocol has been drawn up against the offender under Article 3.11. of the Law of the Republic of Crimea №117,” said Yuri Bravnikov, the head of the "Department of ATC" of the Crimean capital.
Under the "Crimean legislation" for such actions are punishable with fine of 300 to 1000 rubles for individuals, from 2000 to 10,000 rubles for individual entrepreneurs and officials, and from 5,000 to 30,000 rubles for legal entities.
