Orphanage for girls to be built Crimea

Orphanage for girls will be built in Sari-Su settlement of Belogorskiy district of Crimea. The Orphanage is intended for those children who lost parents or are deprived of parental care.

The project was initiated by Ismet Yuksel, the advisor of the Head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people on Turkish affairs.

The orphanage, that will accomodate 30 girls, will be built with the support of Turkish sponsors.

About 1 hectar of land is allocated for the building. The two-storied building that will comprise study rooms, bedrooms, canteen and gymnasium was engineered by Turkish architects.

The girls will have an opportunity to study in a nearby national school.

“We want to create comfortable conditions for parentless children, to make them feel like at home”-Ismet Yuksel said. Everything will be done within the current legislation of Ukraine. We hope soon to proceed with the project”.

The foundation of the building is planned to be laid this spring.
