Only 10% of SBU staff left Crimea after occupation

Only 215 out of the 2.3 thousand SBU employees moved to Ukraine after the illegal annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation.

- 90% of the SBU staff was either the FSB agents, or those who "sympathized" Russia, said Sergey Pashinsky, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security.

During a meeting the Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoly Matios also said that in addition to the Security Service (SBU), most of the military deployed in Crimea also did not want to continue serving in the Ukrainian army – only 6000 people out of 20.3 thousand left Crimea for Ukraine.
