On May 29, the Federal Security Service Directorate in the Crimea questioned Ukrainian activist Natalia Kharchenko, the wife of the Ukrainian Cultural Center activist Andrei Vinogradov, for the fourth time.
Natalia’s lawyer Edem Semedlyaev reported to the Crimean human rights group that the investigator asked his client one question, if she knows the login and password to enter the Natalia Kharchenko page in VKontakte social network.
“We referred to Article 51 of the Russian Federation Constitution and refused to give any evidence. The interrogation lasted for about 20 minutes this time“, the lawyer said.
He explained that a preliminary inquiry is conducted in regard to Natalia Kharchenko on Part 2 of Art. 280.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Public calls for actions intended to violation of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation” and in future it can result in initiation of a criminal case.
According to the lawyer, the Federal Security Department investigator has already compiled two volumes of the “case”.
Earlier QHA reported that in early January, Federal Security Department officers conducted a search in the Vinogradovs’ spouses house in the Crimea.
