Political prisoner of the Kremlin, Ukrainian film-maker Oleg Sentsov wrote a letter to activist of AvtoMaidan Oleksiy Hritsenko. The activist said on his Facebook.

Hritsenko informed that Sentsov "stays cheerful" and "does not intend to give up". It is further noted that the political prisoner is down to 72 kg.

“He asks to write to him and tell about what is happening, since information is received only from letters. He is reading Remarque.”

Hritsenko notes that Sentsov plans to "meet and embrace in a good restaurant."

“With all the positive mood, we must remember that it is hard for Oleg, his health is irreparably damaged, and it is not clear when Oleg will be able to return home and see the children.”

Earlier, former Polish President Lech Walesa submitted the candidacy of Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov for the Nobel Peace Prize The ex-president of Poland called on all people to help in the liberation of the prisoner of Russia.

QHA reported that the US State Department urged the Russian Federation to immediately release Sentsov. State Department spokesman Heather Nauert said that the US authorities are concerned about the health of the political prisoner.
