CHONGAR (QHA) -

At the entrance to Crimea, Russian border guards inspect every passing car more carefully than ever, thus creating massive crowds at the checkpoint. An eyewitness told a QHA correspondent the details of the border crossing.

“We stayed at the Russian border for more than six hours,” said Artyom, a native of Crimea, going to visit his parents from Kyiv to Crimea. “They inspected each car for 25 minutes. There were a lot of cars and people, huge queues…”

The increase in traffic flow on the eve of the holidays was expected, but Russian border guards appeared not to be ready for this.
