Today a new line of demarcation will be established in Donbas between the territories controlled by the Ukrainian government and areas occupied by the ‘DPR’ and ‘LPR’ militants.
This was stated by the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Mykola Malomuzh, Espresso TV reports.
“The primary task is a cease-fire and implementation of measures to determine those hot spots where a sustainable peace should be established. The priority three points are Avdiivka, Mariupol direction and Pesky. The points where there is an acute threat of escalation of the conflict,” he said.
According to Malomuzh, there are also 12 potential hot spots; among them - Stanitsa Luhanska and all the Luhansk direction.
Previously, the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs stated that the situation in Donbas is deteriorating since the parties to the conflict are trying to win back the territory of the buffer zone, approaching each other during the last two weeks.
