The National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting encourages cable providers to air ATR TV Channel. Currently 112 program service providers air ATR TV programs, another 20 companies are planning to start broadcasting, reports the website of the National Council.
Late March, the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting appealed to companies distributing television programs in cable networks to support the Crimean broadcaster oppressed by Russian occupation authorities. More than a hundred Ukrainian providers responded to the call and included ATR programs in their packages, while 20 service providers plan to do so soon.
Reminder: since Roskomnadzor (Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media) hadn’t issued broadcasting license to ATR TV Channel, April 1 ATR was forced to leave Crimea. In June, the channel resumed airing on the territory of mainland Ukraine.
