Mustafa Jemilev, leader of Crimean Tatars, Refat Chubarov, head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatars, and Lenur Islyamov, owner of ATR TV channel, carry on the more open dialogue with Ukrainian people, Eider Muzhdabaev, Deputy Director of the Crimean Tatar ATR TV channel, posted on his Facebook page.
“Dear (and not dear) generals of ‘Facebook armchair warriors!’ All your ‘angry volleys’ aimed at Jemilev, Chubarov and Islyamov, you can redirect at your narrow-minded heads. The Crimean Tatar leaders have shown both Ukraine and the whole world that they are not ‘extremists’ and ‘terrorists’, as Russian propaganda tries to represent them, but politicians putting the strategic interests of the country and Crimean Tatars above all,” Muzhdabaev posted.
According to him, they are ‘honest and incorruptible people.’
“Your absurd statements that they were paid leave for crazy persons, affected by conspiracy theory: Crimean Tatars will never sell their homeland. All decisions made by Crimean Tatar leaders are weighted, political and open to the Ukrainian society. Perhaps, no one in Ukraine speaks so openly and honestly with the people. Responsible people see it and understand. But I would like to say to those irresponsible – take treatment for meanness or stupidity. That's all,” he concluded.
