Mustafa Dzhemilev went on a small Hajj

QHA - Head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev, accompanied by the head of the association of the Crimean Tatars in Kyiv Aslan Omer Kirimli departed from Crimea to Turkey. The ultimate purpose of the trip- performing small Hajj Umrah. In Istanbul airport they have been greeted by head of ‘Emel’ foundation, representative of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people in Turkey Zafer Karatay, head of Istanbul branch of the association of mutual assistance and culture of Crimean Tatars in Turkey Celal Icten and others. In the evening, Mustafa Dzhemilev and Aslan Omer Kirimli flew to Jeddah- a city in western Saudi Arabia. Note: Pilgrimage Umrah- minor pilgrimage associated with a visit to Mecca and Al Haram mosque in particular, however not during a month, intended for Hajj, but at any other time of the year.
