SIMFEROPOL/AQMESCIT (QHA) -

The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea and Sevastopol is launching courses for children aged 3 to 6 where they will be brought up in the best traditions of Islamic culture, says the press service of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea and Sevastopol. According to the project’s authors, a project like this has never been undertaken in Crimea.

Classes will be taught based on a learn-as-you-play system called Multibem. The system enables children to pick up some basic Islamic postulates, familiarize themselves with Mohammed’s life story, take a fascinating journey into lives of other prophets, learn how to read the Holy Quran, and understand fundamentals of natural sciences from the Islamic perspective. Special focus will be placed on the development of each child’s unique personality.

“For us, each child is a unique world, and we are holding keys to this world. By attending the courses, the children will not only co-create the learning process but also initiate the majority of projects. We will try and see each child’s God-given potential and develop it,” say the authors of the project.

Scheduled to launch at 12 a.m. on November 19, the courses will be run as part of the Faydaly Ilim (Useful Knowledge) educational project.

Classes will be taught on Mondays and Thursdays from 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. The venue: Simferopol, 128 Prospect Pobedy Street.
