Muftiyat calls on Crimean producers to appeal for ‘Halal’ certificates

Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea (Muftiyat) calls on Crimean manufacturers to appeal to the Administration for ‘Halal’ certificates.

To get the certificate, one should appeal to commission of ‘Halal’ certification and standardization to investigate the product’s producing, transportation, storage. If all the following points meet the norms of Shari’ah, then ‘Halal’ certificate will be given.  

The certificate confirms that production of this manufacturer is acceptable for consuming by Muslims, as Halal means acceptable by Islamic food restrictions, not containing forbidden ingredients.

The certificate is given for 1 year, and then the company should be examined again.

Number of Crimean companies, among them sausage producer in Trudovoye and “Sherbet” company that produces western sweets got the “Halal” certificates.
