Simferopol (QHA) - Today, on October 29, Mufti of Muslims of Crimea Emirali Ablayev met with head of Crimean Council of Ministers Anatoly Mogilev, press service of committee of Muslims of Crimea informs. The head of the Council of Ministers and the Mufti condemned the mosques attacks in Saki and Krasnogvardeyskiy district of Crimea, which took place on the eve of Muslim Kurban Bayram holiday. The sides agreed that such actions are provocations which deserve the harshest assessment of the police and the entire Crimean society. In the framework of the meeting, the construction of a mosque in Dobroye village of Simferopolskiy district was discussed. Anatoly Mogilev noted that if local community supports such construction, necessary assistance should be provided. At the same time the community needs to determine the location for the construction and get approval from bodies of local self-governance. The sides expressed hope that the issue will be resolved. The sides also agreed that along with the mosque, Orthodox church should be built in the area. “Religious buildings of the two religions will become the center of cultural and spiritual education for the Crimean youth”, - noted head of Council of Ministers. The Mufti added, that “a person who knows his/her religion, will treat with respect other faiths as well”. As reported, Muslim community of Dobroye village has disagreements with local authorities regarding land plot for the construction of a mosque. Earlier Dobroye village council has allocated land for construction. But later, it has redefined the land for the market. At present, trade stalls and necessary building materials have been delivered to the plot for the market to be opened soon.
