Moscow to celebrate second year of "annexation" of Crimea

The occupants will hold a concert "We Are Together" to celebrate two years since it has occupied the Ukrainian peninsula.

The Public Chamber of the Russian Federation has filed a request to the Moscow Mayor's Office to conduct a large-scale rally-concert in honor of the second year of the so-called "Crimean Spring", that is Russia’s annexation of Crimea.

According to Alexander Brechalov, Secretary of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the rally is to be held on March, 18.

- A lot of people, civil society activists, representatives of public organizations constantly contact us and we feel the social request to celebrate the "Crimean Spring". We have filed a request to the Moscow Mayor's Office to hold on March 18 of the rally-concert "We are together!" at Vasilyevsky Spusk, reported the press service of the Public Chamber.

Ukraine’s Parliament has declared February 20, 2014 the official start date of Russia’s annexation of Crimea.
