1.2 million museum objects of the museum fund are still in Russia-occupied Crimea, said the Ukraine’s Ministry of Culture as cited by BBC Ukraine.

- We do not have reliable information what exactly has been left in the Crimea. We know that it constitutes close to 1.2 of the 12 million (objects - Ed.) of the museum fund, said Ukraine’s Culture Minister Vasily Rozhko.

He also noted that a year ago, the Ukrainian government sent a request to the insurance fund of the Russian Federation to provide information on objects that remained in Crimea, but so far has not received any response.
