A total of 60 transmitters has been installed to resume Ukrainian broadcasting on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, a UNN correspondent quotes Tatyana Popova, Deputy Minister of Information Policy (MIP) of Ukraine, as saying at a briefing in Kyiv on July 19.

“We have no accurate data on watching TV channels in the occupied territories. However, we can see what is happening on the territory of Donbas controlled by Ukraine. As of now, we have already installed 60 transmitters in the East,” Popova said.

According to her, Ukraine has allocated UAH 2 million for this purpose.

Tatyana Popova also noted that the Ministry has recently installed a new transmitter for Voice of Donbas radio station.
