The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine reported on the number of registered internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied Crimea and Donbas. The information was published on the department's website.

Thus, the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy noted that as of April 23, 2018, about 1.5 million internally displaced persons are registered.

“As of April 23, 2018, according to the structural subdivisions of the social protection of the population of the regional and Kyiv City State Administrations, 1 million 496 thousand 713 IDPs or 1 million 222 thousand 289 families from Donbas and Crimea were registered,” says the message.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine changed the procedure for providing monthly targeted assistance to internally displaced persons to cover living expenses. The Minister of Social Policy, Andrei Reva, noted that the allowance was increased to those who receive pensions, as well as to families with children.
