According to the Prosecutor's office, the total number of prisoners in such places is more than three thousand people with military and civilians being among them.
- In total, the camps kept more than 3 thousand people, including military and the civilian population, with convoy and guards being provided. The prisoners were beaten, tortured and forced to do heavy works, and in some cases even killed, Anatoly Matios, the Military Prosecutor of Ukraine, said a briefing as cited by "Espreso.TV".
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, as a punishment the militants deprived the prisoners of food, water, toilet and health care.
- As of now, 160 victims have been questioned on these facts, said the Military Prosecutor.
