Such meetings with compatriots are traditional in the work of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people. They were especially frequent in 2013 - early 2014, when the last body of the Mejlis was elected. Then the members of the Mejlis traveled every region of the Crimea and had the opportunity to communicate with compatriots.

“All our work now, here in the region, as well as in Kyiv and in the international arena, is based on the desire to return Crimea. And one of the directions of this work is strengthening the community in the border regions with the Crimea. We try as hard as we can to assist in solving the problems in these areas,” Chubarov said.

Of the allocated funds only 4.6 million Hryvnia have been used, for the money was allocated just before the New Year. Thus, 1.9 million were used for the district hospital needs, 1 million Hryvnia for education - schools and kindergartens, 1.7 million were used for cultural institutions. Moreover, the project on the TIKA program was implemented in the region.
