The problems of the secondary school No. 1 in Novooleksiivka village of Genichesky district are gradually solved due to cooperation of the Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Kherson regional Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, as well as representative bodies of local self-government and executive authorities.
A new boiler, purchased at the expense of the district budget, was installed in the boiler room.
In parallel, due to the technical assistance received from patrons from Turkey, all the old windows in the school were replaced with new metal-plastic ones. The walls of the educational building and workshops were insulated, plastered and painted.
Also, patrons will provide the school with furniture (desks, chairs, wardrobes and bookcases, wall cabinets, school boards), and sports equipment.
Assistance to the school is provided through the international technical assistance project of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).
According to the Head of the Kherson Regional Mejlis Lenur Lumanov, these projects are implemented with the active cooperation of TİKA with the Kherson Regional and local Mejlis and are supported by the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.
“The Kherson Regional Mejlis expresses its gratitude to all those involved in the implementation of these projects, primarily the Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency in Ukraine, Mr. Hacı Bayram Bolat. I would like to note the professionalism, responsibility and active participation of Fuad Veliyev and Reshat Maksudov and other employees of the organization in the successful implementation," Lenur Lumanov said.
L.Lyumanov further noted the role of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Boris Babin and his First Deputy Izet Gdanov, who took personal control of the issue of heating the school.
The Head of the Kherson Regional Majlis also expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Novooleksiivka Elevator, who provided scaffolds free of charge for finishing work.
School number 1 in the village of Novooleksiivka, Genichesky district, is the only school in the mainland Ukraine with the Crimean Tatar language of education.
Earlier, QHA reported that the school No. 1 in Novooleksiivka created a national Crimean Tatar class.
