Dozens of thousands of people took part in a May Day parade through the center of Crimean capital, Simferopol, on May 1.
Crimean authorities estimated the possible number of participants at up to 100,000 people.
The event was attended by Crimean Premier Sergey Aksyonov, deputy Prime-Minister Rustam Temirgaliev, speaker of Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov and the others.
Premier Sergey Aksyonov congratulated people with the May Day.
“Despite of some inconveniences in this period of time, I thank Crimean for attending the parade on their free will”- he said.
