April 24, the Moscow Chamber of Advocates deprived Mark Feygin of the lawyer status. Feygin defended the interests of the Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko illegally detained in Russia and other political prisoners. The lawyer wrote on the situation on Twitter.
“So, I was deprived of my lawyer status. I was deprived of it for three tweets. What to expect from the Russian bar, curved in a bow before the Kremlin! What a disgrace," Feygin wrote.
Earlier it was reported that a complaint had been filed with the Moscow Chamber of Advocates against Mark Feygin.
The lawyer believes that the person who is trying in this way to remove him from his professional activities is an agent of the Kremlin. The complaint against the lawyer was filed by the well-known Russian blogger Anatoly Shariy.
