On 18 March, in Severodonetsk, the action "Luhansk region is United, Crimea is Ukraine" was held against the election of the Russian president in the occupied Crimea, according to the report by the press service of the Luhansk regional state administration.
The symbol of unity was the word "Crimea" formed of live chain by the inhabitants of the city near the unfolded flag of Ukraine.
Several hundred people supported the flashmob.
Chairman of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Yuriy Harbuz on his Facebook page thanked the activists and supporters of the flashmob who took part in the action in order to express their civil position for the unity of Ukraine and against the presidential elections in the occupied Ukrainian peninsula.
"Our strength and our Victory are in unity and solidarity, in freedom-loving and efficiency," he wrote.
On March 18 in Zaporizhia the flashmob "Ukraine is United! Crimea is Ukraine" was also held against the presidential election in the occupied Crimea. The public organization "Zaporizhia Council of ATO Veterans", the participants of military operations in the east of Ukraine, civil activists and residents of Zaporizhia joined the action, which took place on Maidan of Heroes.
Participants of the flashmob urged the European community to recognize these elections as invalid.
Similar actions were also held in Odesa and Kyiv.
