Russian propaganda channel LifeNews that changed its name to Life is to terminate its broadcasts in Crimea and Sevastopol, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the so-called Crimean “Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications” Dmitry Polonsky.

“Due to the fact that the relevant contract has not been concluded, the retransmission of the TV channel in Crimea and Sevastopol will be stopped starting July 19,” Polonsky said.

The reason for the broadcast termination can be technical or commercial issues. The decision was made on orders of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network, which started to work in the occupied territory since the beginning of the annexation of the Crimean peninsula.
