Armen Martoyan, the leader of the "self-defense" troop of the Crimea, was put on the international wanted list, according to the report by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol of October 3.

"The leader of one of the troops of the so-called "Self Defense of the Crimea", suspected of the infliction of bodily injuries and kidnapping of Ukrainian citizens, was put on the international wanted list through the Interpol channels with the status of "Arrest for extradition" to Ukraine,” the report said.

Reference: One of the symbols of the occupation of the Crimea were people in camouflage with black and orange St. George ribbons, clubs and shields in their hands. On the eve of the "annexation" of the peninsula to Russia, they allegedly assumed the functions of law enforcement agencies, but in fact, they were engaged in harassment and intimidation of Crimean residents. The so-called "self-defense" exists until today, but now it is called "The People's Militia of the Crimea", but members of the gangs receive a salary from the Crimean budget.
