The flag of the United States of America was recorded waving at the headquarters of the terrorist organization PYD [Kurdish terrorists in Syria - Ed.] in the Syrian province of Raqqa, the AA agency reports.

American flags can be seen even from the Turkish province of Sanliurfa.

Local sources report that the Kurdish militants are using the US flag as a kind of a "shield", which usually indicates the location of the American troops.

Earlier, in the north of the Syrian  region Myumbich, where the largest number of Kurdish terrorists were located, PYD hung the American flags all around the settlement of their disposition.

December 2015, the Kurdish militants in cooperation with the United States expanded their influence on the western bank of the Euphrates River, assuring the International community that their main goal was the fight against ISIL terrorists. But it has become clear that the militants are just trying to strengthen their control of the region. And the Turkish Armed Forces respond it with shellings.
