Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky has lodged another lawsuit with the International Court of Arbitration in The Hague against the Russian Federation, reported an edition specializing in arbitration cases.
The new lawsuit was filed by five companies, members of Privat: PJSK Dniproazot, LLC Lugsor (Kiev), LLC Libset (Kiev), LLC Aberon (Dnepropetrovsk) and and LLC Ukrintreinvest (Dnepropetrovsk). All businesses, except Dneprzot chemical plant, specialized in the trade in goods and real estate transactions.
The lawsuit was filed on the basis of the UN Commission Regulation on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and the agreement between Russia and Ukraine of 27 November 1998 on the investment protection.
Currently, the claim amount is unknown.
According to the webpage of the Arbitration Court in The Hague, the Russian Federation has not yet appointed official representatives to the lawsuit.
