KERCH (QHA) -

Almost the entire area of the Crimean coast of the Kerch Strait is dangerously landslide. Such a conclusion was made in the course of the Kerch coast survey to determine the areas amenable to landslide processes, according to the website of the Kerch City "Administration."

“Most dangerously landslide zones have been recorded in the area of Chernomorskay and Deikalo Streets, Starokarantinsky beach and the south-eastern slope of Mount Mithridates,” local "authorities" report.

According to the Directorate for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Kerch City "Administration," it is necessary to conduct a number of high-cost activities to prevent the emergency situations related to landslide processes. However, there are no appropriate funds in the city budget.
