Julia Marushevskaya, 26, Deputy Chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration, will be appointed to the position of the Chief of the Odessa Customs, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced at the opening ceremony of the Administrative Service Center in Odessa.
Julia Marushevskaya is ‘extremely efficient and talented woman’ with good managerial skills. Her appointment is to change the situation in the Odessa Customs, Radio Svoboda reports citing the President.
She was among 70 candidates who applied for position of the Chief of Odessa Customs in September this year.
Julia Marushevskaya is a Euromaidan activist and the author of the English-language video I Am a Ukrainian. She graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, major studies: Ukrainian language & literature, German language. She has been working as Deputy Chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration since September this year.
