Jemilev offers condolences to Turkish people

Mustafa Jemilev, leader of Crimean Tatars, expressed his condolences to the Turkish people and families of those wounded and killed in the terror attack that took place in Ankara on February 17.

“Our hearts go out to the brotherly Turkish nation. In a struggle against terror each of us has his own commitments to abide by,” says a comment Jemilev posted on his Facebook page.

It was reported earlier by QHA that a powerful blast occurred outside the Turkish Navy Headquarters in Ankara on the evening of February 17.  According to the Turkish police, the explosion was caused by an explosive device. Turkish Vice Premier Numan Kurtulmush said the attack targeted Turkish servicemen who were boarding buses at the time the explosion occurred. Initial reports suggest that 28 people were killed and 61 wounded in the attack.
